Hello, and a huge warm welcome to my blog! My name’s Charlotte Jayne Jackson and I’m currently based in Shropshire, England. The main focus of my blog is fashion, food and adventures so if that sounds great to you stick around, take a look, and enjoy! ~ x
As you can see from the below photos, I bought a pair of the SKIMS Jasper Buffalo Check Fleece Sleep Set. This was my first ever time buying anything at all from SKIMS so I thought I would make a blog post about it to let you know my verdict!
I can honestly say these pyjamas are one of the best things I have purchased of late. The quality is insanely good (which I would expect for the price £!) and they feel expensive. I can see myself having these for years and years as they are just so well made. I’m also a big fan of the sustainable packaging!
I also LOVE the colour. I don’t own a lot of brown clothing but honestly I don’t know why because this colour really matches my hair and makes everything look very tonal and matchy matchy. They are also ultra soft…for real they are just so incredibly cosy and comfortable to wear, I haven’t worn anything else in the evening but these since I got them last week! I find I don’t own a lot of pyjamas because I always lean toward an oversized t-shirt or nighty as in the past I’ve found pyjama sets can be kind of uncomfortable? Am I the only one? But not these!!
These SKIMS fleece pyjamas are just eternally comfortable and I actually think I want to buy a second pair in Green… (sorry bank account 😉 )
I would say that if you live an a warm climate they might be too warm for you as they definitely keep in the heat. I live in the UK and it’s currently Winter/Spring time and they have kept me very warm in the low night temperatures but I think I will overheat when late Spring arrives.
I was also unsure what size to buy when I ordered them, but eventually settled on a UK small. I’m a size 8-10 (UK) but the small was recommended for 4-6 UK but in the comments people were saying they run very oversized. This made me order a size small and it was certainly the right decision as they are quite big on me (in a good way) due to the oversized style. I like this style in pyjamas as I like to be comfortable but if you are someone who likes more tighter fitted clothing I would recommend you size down 🙂
I wanted to come on here and post about this INSANELY gorgeous yellow beach set I got from NA-KD.com this summer 💛
I mean…come ON. SO NICE!! Yellow’s genuinely been one of my favourite colours for years but I never really wear it because I’m so pale skinned naturally, and it washes me out! This summer (with the help of some fake tan haha) I decided that I was going to dress in more brighter colours and when I saw this outfit I had to grab it.
…And I think it looks great 😉
The view from this balcony was also perfect for some photos and I loved the palm trees in the back ground on the golf course. I took these photo’s while in Spain a few weeks ago and the weather was perfect for laying around the pool in a beachy outfit like this.
I feel like the only thing missing from these photos is a lemonade haha 🙂
It’s official – I’ve found my new favourite jewellery shop.
//When I was a teenager I used to religiously wear silver or white gold jewellery only, but the past few years I’ve really been into the look of gold coloured jewellery. Something I’ve not had in my collection is a short/chocker style gold necklace for layering and I’ve been on the hunt for the right one for a while and… I finally found the one ~
I was one the Daisy London Website when I saw this simple, elegant gold plated necklace for sale. It’s an Estee Lalonde Short Snake Chain Necklace. I’ve been wearing it all week and it sits perfectly with my other gold necklaces to make a really nice laying look. When I buy jewellery I always try to buy items that I know will last a long time and won’t easily tarnish, so I knew Daisy London would serve me well in that sense. I’ve been given jewellery from brands such as Pandora before and I’ve found that within 6 months they’ve tarnished :(. Sooo, I now really try and avoid that…
I love this necklace that much I think Daisy London has become my favourite everyday jewellery shop! I’ve seen so many items on their website that I’m now dying to buy (their rings look insane FYI) and I’ve even gotten a few compliments on my new necklace! I’m also trying to wear more jewellery as I have a habit of wearing the same items over and over again, and I think changing up your jewellery (and accessorises in general) is a great way to look more stylish without actually having to do too much ~
I’m off to Venice in a few weeks and this necklace will certainly be coming with me :)//
I wanted to pop a quick blog post on here about this shoulder bag I recently bought from Guess.
It’s brown and black with the classic logo design covering the whole bag apart from the straps. I LOVE IT.
I’ve never been one to buy designer clothing but I saw this bag in the Guess shop while shopping in Oxford Street, in London, a few months back and could not stop thinking about it for the life of me!
It some how seems to go with everything (as dark coloured bags often do)?? I love the size of the bag as it’s big enough that you can get a lot in there but small enough that you forget that you have it on your shoulder. Which is great as I hate carrying things about…
I have a lot of bags but don’t have many smaller shoulder bags – and adding this to my collection was such a good idea as I’ve been wearing almost everywhere since I bought it ❤ . What do you guys think?
If I remember correctly this bag was originally in the £100s but I managed to get in a sale for around £60 (my purse is grateful) ~
//Good afternoon guys, has everyone been keeping up with the Olympics?? I’ve been loving the gymnastics today ~
Speaking of very figure hugging outfits, something that I’ve been loving wearing at the moment is black bicycle shorts! I was always that person for years who started off hating it as a fashion trend, then eventually loving it on other people but never thought I’d wear it myself…BUT that day (or rather year) has come ~
This summer I have been living in my black pair of bicycle shorts! They go with so much but I particularly like wearing them with my oversized white shirt 🙂 (see above).
