Good morning everyone ~

If you’re in the UK I hope you are enjoying some cooler weather after the record breaking high temperatures last week. Not great when you don’t have air conditioning…!

On a better note, the week before last I spent 5 days in Venice with my friend Tamsin and we did so much and took a lot of photos. So, I thought I’d share some of my favourites with you here~

Breakfast at Florian Cafe

On the first day we had breakfast at the worlds first known cafe – Florian Cafe. I had orange juice with a roast vegetable croissant 🥐 . They had a live classical band playing well known tunes while we ate 🙂

Dinner on the balcony

When we arrived from the airport (after a day of cancelled flights 🥲) we were too tired to eat out so made some tomato pasta with Parmesan cheese and sat on our private balcony at our apartment, with a bottle of Merlot, in the warm air (soo good).

Doge’s Palace

We explored Doge’s Palace – once the centre of Venetian power

Had to go on a gondola ride (how can you not when staying in Venice?!)

Where we were staying was very close to Venice’s central hub, St. Marks Square. The streets were jam packed with designer shops, I couldn’t believe how many there were! I’ve never been anywhere where there were so many designer stores in one place (Hermes, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dior etc). No wonder the rich and famous come to Venice…

Nutella Tiramisu

This was the nicest tiramisu I’ve ever tasted <3. It was a Nutella tiramisu and I got it from the birth place of tiramisu! How cool?!

Lido Island

This was taken at the Peggy Guggenheim Exhibition. It had the biggest collection of world famous art I’d ever seen in real life – including Jackson Pollock.

Pizza, Gnocchi and Wine

One night we couldn’t finish our wine at dinner so decided to take it back to our apartment…one man thought it was very funny we did this and laughed at us very loudly as we left the restaurant…haha!

I loved Venice, and can’t wait to see even more of Italy in the future. I really want to go to Lake Como, Milan and the Amalfi Coast ❤

Guess Shoulder Bag

Hiya everyone,

And Happy Easter if you celebrate it!!

I wanted to pop a quick blog post on here about this shoulder bag I recently bought from Guess.

How stunning is that golden buckle?!

It’s brown and black with the classic logo design covering the whole bag apart from the straps. I LOVE IT.

I’ve never been one to buy designer clothing but I saw this bag in the Guess shop while shopping in Oxford Street, in London, a few months back and could not stop thinking about it for the life of me!

It some how seems to go with everything (as dark coloured bags often do)?? I love the size of the bag as it’s big enough that you can get a lot in there but small enough that you forget that you have it on your shoulder. Which is great as I hate carrying things about…

I have a lot of bags but don’t have many smaller shoulder bags – and adding this to my collection was such a good idea as I’ve been wearing almost everywhere since I bought it ❤ . What do you guys think?

If I remember correctly this bag was originally in the £100s but I managed to get in a sale for around £60 (my purse is grateful) ~

Bicycle Shorts

Speaking of very figure hugging outfits, something that I’ve been loving wearing at the moment is black bicycle shorts! I was always that person for years who started off hating it as a fashion trend, then eventually loving it on other people but never thought I’d wear it myself…BUT that day (or rather year) has come ~

This summer I have been living in my black pair of bicycle shorts! They go with so much but I particularly like wearing them with my oversized white shirt 🙂 (see above).

I wonder what trend will grow on my next?//

Brown Floral H&M Dress

Hello lovelies, what do ya think of my dress?!

Got this maxi dress from H&M about 3 weeks ago and finally wore it out! I LOVE IT ❤

I saw it a while ago while I was shopping in the Trafford Centre (Manchester) and instantly wanted it…but they had none left in my size 😦

Sooo…after thinking it over for a while I eventually bought it online!

They recommended that I went a size up (as it runs a little small) so I wear mine in a UK 10.

It fits great at that size and doesn’t sit too tightly anywhere on my body – which is nice because, let’s face it, who wants to be in a tight dress in the hot summer?

I haven’t got any photos of the back but it sits very low on the waist and has a little zip that runs up the left side 🙂 – I really like the back of this dress and wish I had a photo to show!!

I think my favourite thing about this dress is the lace detail on the breast – so elegant and pretty 😍

An Oversized Cardigan for All Year Round

Good morning everyone, I hope you are having a great week and keeping healthy if you are in Lockdown!

I want to write a post about this White cardigan I recently purchased from Missguided (as I pretty much live in it haha!).

I think like a lot of people during COVID I’ve bought ALOT of lounge wear, wayyy more than I usually would, this year because we can’t go anywhere but our living rooms…

This cardigan is perfect for lounging around the house. It’s oversized, ties at the waist, is soft and wearable. I LOVEEE it!

I like to style it with black leggings or cycle shorts with fluffy slippers and a t-shirt <3. The sleeves are extra large also, giving you that feeling like your are slightly wrapped in a blanket haha.
