Endless Summer

Travel

Hiya everyone,

It’s getting super cold here in the UK right now, and I’ve been going through my photo’s from Spain in September craving the 30 degree heat, beautiful sunset skies, and endless summer…pure bliss ❤

I thought I’d post some of them here today (last ones though, I promise!)

The sunsets at our villa (about an hour out of Alicante) were magnificent every single evening. The pink clouds and blue skies were so calming to look at in an evening on our balcony or in our little garden.

And this was the view from the roof! How awesome right?! All the little houses and palm tress in the background just look so aesthetic and beautiful…

Anyone else a polaroid person? I totally am haha.

Our cute little garden ❤ LOVE this place.

A funny little fact is that we couldn’t work out how to use the air-conditioning (oops) so we just lounged around all day in swim ware…although we made the mistake of leaving the balcony doors open at night and got eaten by mosquitoes…after having this happen to me in Venice you’d think I’d have learned my lesson by now, but guess not!!

Can’t get over these sunsets…

Cute little balcony at the back we didn’t discover until the end of our stay!!

It was always so warm that I would wake up SO early every morning, and this photo shows how I felt about that lol…

And finally a little photo of one of the times we went out for dinner ❤ (I’m also obsessed with the colour teal at the moment).

All for now,

Venice

Travel

Good morning everyone ~

If you’re in the UK I hope you are enjoying some cooler weather after the record breaking high temperatures last week. Not great when you don’t have air conditioning…!

On a better note, the week before last I spent 5 days in Venice with my friend Tamsin and we did so much and took a lot of photos. So, I thought I’d share some of my favourites with you here~

Enjoy x

Breakfast at Florian Cafe

On the first day we had breakfast at the worlds first known cafe – Florian Cafe. I had orange juice with a roast vegetable croissant 🥐 . They had a live classical band playing well known tunes while we ate 🙂

Dinner on the balcony

When we arrived from the airport (after a day of cancelled flights 🥲) we were too tired to eat out so made some tomato pasta with Parmesan cheese and sat on our private balcony at our apartment, with a bottle of Merlot, in the warm air (soo good).

Doge’s Palace

We explored Doge’s Palace – once the centre of Venetian power

Had to go on a gondola ride (how can you not when staying in Venice?!)

Where we were staying was very close to Venice’s central hub, St. Marks Square. The streets were jam packed with designer shops, I couldn’t believe how many there were! I’ve never been anywhere where there were so many designer stores in one place (Hermes, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dior etc). No wonder the rich and famous come to Venice…

Sweet shop – how great do those strawberries look??

Nutella Tiramisu

This was the nicest tiramisu I’ve ever tasted <3. It was a Nutella tiramisu and I got it from the birth place of tiramisu! How cool?!

Lido Island

This was taken at the Peggy Guggenheim Exhibition. It had the biggest collection of world famous art I’d ever seen in real life – including Jackson Pollock.

Evening ❤

Pizza, Gnocchi and Wine

One night we couldn’t finish our wine at dinner so decided to take it back to our apartment…one man thought it was very funny we did this and laughed at us very loudly as we left the restaurant…haha!

I loved Venice, and can’t wait to see even more of Italy in the future. I really want to go to Lake Como, Milan and the Amalfi Coast ❤

Birthday Night Away

Uncategorized

Good evening everyone…

…and happy (day after) Valentine’s Day <3. This year was the first time I ever properly celebrated Valentine’s Day with my boo. The past two Valentine’s have been during COVID and it’s just been difficult to plan anything special. It’s also just after Christmas, New Year, both me and Harrison’s birthday’s (both January bebe’s), and our anniversary…so by the time it comes around we can never be bothered to do anything. BUT, this year we DID! H treated me a really nice dinner at a restaurant near to where we live where they have *insanely* good food. We ordered sooo much food and I even got some of my favourite chocolates :). Kinda makes me want to celebrate it every year now…haha.

I never took any photos last night but I completely forgot that I saved a draft blog post from my birthday a few weeks ago!

Did you really go to a spa if you didn’t wear a white robe?

H organised for us to go to a nice spa hotel not too far from my house for an evening with a nice meal, drinks, and a lovely room back in January. I’ve driven past the hotel so many times in my life yet it was the first time I had ever set foot in there!

Those pillows were as squishy and as soft as they look

The room was super nice with really high ceilings and a massive comfy bed <3.

We had dinner in the evening and a bottle of wine. The food was delicious and it was super fun to dress up a little bit nicer for a change. I actually have a lot of photo’s from dinner… but I look a bit tipsy in nearly every one so I think it’s best they remain off the internet haha!

I was so Hungary I forgot to take a snap of my main! oops. (How dreamy does that chocolate look?!)

We ended the night watching movies and YouTube in bed snuggled up in our awesome bed. In the morning we order breakfast to our room before heading back home.

I was sooo great getting to do something for my 25th birthday after missing my last birthday to COVID. I love celebrating birthday’s as it think it’s important to commemorate every year of life that’s given to you. I want to look back and remember all the fun things I did each year, with the people that I care about the most 🙂

An Evening in Cyprus

Travel

Hiya everybody,

I’ve been away for the past week in Cyprus enjoying some warmer weather and some epic food 🥰

Sadly, I missed the build up to Halloween 🎃 (which I absolutely LOVE) this year, but it was so nice to finally get on a plane and go somewhere different…is the return to pre-Covid travel on the horizon?? I hope so!

October is the off-season for tourists, which means some very quiet restaurants and bars!

I spent the week with my Boyfriend and his family in a lovely villa in Latchi (Northwest of the island) and spent most days relaxing around the pool and exploring the bars and restaurants along the beach ~

The first night we went to a fish restaurant and had a lot of great food, and I got to dress up!

Seriously obsessed with this dress – look at the low back!! Sooo nice

We ordered so much food that night (Lobster, lamb, platters etc.) but I actually only had an omelette 🤦🏼‍♀️…vegetarian life!

Because we ordered so much, they gave us a free platter of fresh fruit and some pitta and honey which was YUM. Seriously, it doesn’t look much but it’s delicious!!

Could eat honey pitta all day everyday

We ended the evening drinking wine by the pool until about 4am and proceeded to do that many nights after…the best way to holiday I think 😉

More to come,
